Game and computer freezes after Office - Nyhus - 08-05-2007

Hi!

At the start of the game, after I've been in the office finding stuff and see the dog/wolf/monster the game and computer totally freezes. I have to restart, no error-message or anyting. I tried to update with the patch, but then the game wont start at all.

How can i fix this? I really want to play through the game, it seems great!

Are you sure you used the correct patch?

use this one:

and not anyone meant for the techdemo.

It was not the same patch you linked to, thats for sure. Thanks, ill try again now.

Didnt helt at all. Still freezes.

Very strange, I guess it happens when the enemy enters. But now idea why, will try and look into it.

Working on some other stuff too that might help if the new patch does not.

I have something like that. Each time i enter a new area and if it lags( game becomes all slowy) i haves monsters. And when im fithing or running away from a dog its gets REALLY SLOW!!! i mean i hear him running and the dog after me but i dont see me running very well.But when there aren't no monsters i play very well.

Example:Im running from a dog i pass a tube and maybe 5sec later im already running to a wall!And then it apears: You´re dead. Main Menu or Continue...

If any1 haves any ideias help me!!! I put the lowest resolution, texture quality is low, shadows off and motoin blurr also off too. Still lags!!!

My system Specs:

Pentium 4.2
Windows XP SP2
Nvidia Geforece 6200 Turbo Cache 256mb
1GB RAM
80GB Hard drive
Realtek Sound Card

Please find me a solution for this problem!!!
