amnesia installer source file corrupted - amnesia18 - 01-08-2012
Please help, I bought, downloaded and unzipped Amnesia Dark descent, and then the installer wouldn't go.
It kept coming up with the error message:
C:\Program Files\Amnesia - The Dark Descent\install_files\url_icon\icon_created_by.url
An error occurred while trying to read the source file:
The source file is corrupted.
I have looked for answers around the forums and other places on the internet, but I couldn't find anything.

you need to redownload or reextract it since some files seem to be corrupted.

do you have enough disk space? From where did you buy the game?

I bought the game off this site, and yeah I have tons of disk space.
