It takes a mind of great to learn and understand without being guided in the direction that you did seek to avoid. What one may say the right path another may say the wrong. It is by what we do that controls what curve we may walk. Judgement and comment may sooth the mind; even the heart but it does not resolve with reasoning or with it's brother understanding.

But without judgement and comment, how can we improve? I know some who only get feedback such as "Good Job!" or, "That's really good!" but in reality, the work they produce lies within 'mediocre'. And they have yet to improve.

(Big Grin This is fun.)

In the same way does it require a great mind to avoid corruption, so does judgement and comment for resolution. But can a student claim to be a teacher? Should the teacher seek to understand the student, or the student the teacher? Who is the teacher but the one the student seeks approval from? If not by speech, then by wallet.

One must realize the difference between judgement and observation. The two are similar in many ways, yet one has a fault and the other a beginning. A man may say you are not organized and should change while another may say you're style of life is not as organized as many; one being the judgement and the other the observation. Judgement may create what is not needed while observation may create progress which is apart of all humans.

Corruption falls in every mans mind, if great or musty. A great mind does not concern the amount of knowledge one obtains but with which it uses the knowledge it has. There is not one teacher nor one student but many that derives in a circle. To understand the student is to understand the teacher, for both are learning until their eyes are closed. They are the same but may walk a different way. It is true approval may drive one but it can never succeed him.

We both know that without observation, judgement is nothing and so cannot exist. Therefore, if observation guides judgement, and if observation creates progress, then so does judgement. Observation seeks merely to store up knowledge, where judgement acts upon the knowledge stored up. And so the great mind becomes judgement, becoming greater than observation who chooses to remain in the shadows, who gave birth to judgement. Yet, though the mind be great, how can it see without eyes, which are smaller than the mind? Yet, though separate, they are one. And so, to ask for observation without judgement is to deprive observation of purpose and of potential.

This thread has really gone off topic, but... let us watch and see how it unfolds.

Observation is not a dead thing where it sits and waits for nothing to come. It, in it's whole, is full of potential that may be used without the need for judgments to be made. Judgments come from one mans mind, comparing his standards with what he sees of the man he is judging. Every man has a different mind set, a different code of morals and standards that he or she follows. That will not change nor will it change after one judges another. Observations hide in the shadows as one may say but not to let Judgment take over but to wait for one to use it while Judgment hangs so high for use in which it is easier. They are similar but not peers. One can use observation to bring on change with keeping both the standards of the two men. One must learn to separate the two before knowing how to use one. Is it simple? No, but it is possible. Violence is not needed with which Judgment originated from, not observation as the father.

RE: Mainstream Games are so bad nowadays - Your Computer - 02-01-2012

I wonder. Can observation decide which road to take for one stuck on a fork? How can observation be used without judgement, then? May the man observe all his life; death will be his new friend. If you say, "Let him judge which path to take," then is judgement then inherently evil? For what would make it evil save the one claiming evil? And so we see that judgement is not something that should be desperately avoided, but perhaps even embraced, if to only spare a man from doom. For should one observe themselves diving into poverty, or should one judge themselves out of foolish spending? And is it not foolish for a man to claim they are a god? For this, if not by council, then by wallet.

RE: Mainstream Games are so bad nowadays - J.R.S.S. - 02-02-2012

You speak of one man to him the man while I speak of a man to his fellow beings. One could judge his own self, knowing his morals and standards that he truly is the only one that knows and may change. Though who knows themselves more then him being the man? What one does not know you can not judge. Experience being the guide to the road away from the unknown and to progress that has been said many times by both. Observing oneself doing or a man doing does not mean you do nothing. You say "should one observe themselves diving into poverty or should one judge themselves out of foolish spending?" but the meaning of observe is different from the two of us. You may observe that thyself is diving into poverty or you may observe thyself spending a large sum of money that may lead to your destruction. With this knowledge you may take from a change. Judgement not ever needed. There is no need to judge yourself, no need to insult yourself in order to change. Now perhaps that is needed for some? Perhaps that is true. Every man is different in it's own being. It's what we know and how we use that knowledge that makes us choose which path to take even if that may be a infinite number of paths. I do not speak of desperately avoiding judgment; I only speak of learning away from it.
