Specs question - RawkBandMan - 02-05-2012 If I were to buy a ATI Radeon X1600 Pro 512MB, would I be able to play this game on all Low settings with Updated Drivers and all effects (besides Post Effects) off, would I be able to run this game at 30-40 FPS? I have a very crappy PC, low budget, and a cruddy Motherboard (PCI-E Express 1.1 X16 slots), and this card is $21, can run with my motherboard, and etc. How would it perform in Amnesia is what I want to know. Oh Crap wrong forum. Ugh, sorry. Move this to Technical Support please!! RE: Specs question - Your Computer - 02-05-2012 Probably not, but what would be wrong with, say, this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121473 RE: Specs question - RawkBandMan - 02-05-2012 (02-05-2012, 04:47 AM)Your Computer Wrote: Probably not, but what would be wrong with, say, this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121473You need a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 for that card. I only have PCI-Express 1.1 x16 ![]() RE: Specs question - RawkBandMan - 02-05-2012 I found a computer with a Radeon HD 6450 with OpenGL 4.1 support, so I'm assuming this would be able to run Amnesia fine? RE: Specs question - Your Computer - 02-05-2012 PCI Express 2.0 x16 is backwards compatible with PCI Express 1.1 x16. There is nothing wrong with the card i suggested. There is nothing wrong with the card i suggested.I know I could use a 1.1 card on 2.0, but I can't use a 2.0 card on a 1.1... That makes no sense at all. Also, my GB of RAM and Processor is all very cruddy, so it would make more sense to get a new computer all together... RE: Specs question - RawkBandMan - 02-06-2012 So would the ATI Radeon HD 6450 512 MB DDR3 run this game fine (with 8 GB of RAM and Intel Core i5 2.7GHz)?
