For total conversions, I like White Night, La Caza and Through the Portal
For custom stories, I liked Sins of Our Past, but my all time favourite would have to be White Night.

Id have to say that for serious custom stories, Abduction and Nepsis are good, and for TC White Night.
But The Small Horse always cracks me up, i love them and The House of Creep too

My favourite has to be something not yet announced, not yet playable. It will be the most amazing mod created with the HPL engine this far. It'll be great.

Nepsis, Followed By Death, Kidnapped, Sins Of Our Past, Lost The Lights, La Caza, Dark Room, Through The Portal, The Machine, & The Attic .

I have over 70 dowloaded, but I've only played through about 24 of them
So far, my top favorites are House of Creep 1-3, and Lost the Lights (which I still haven't finished)
Though I'll probably add to the list once I've played the more popular ones like White Night and La Caza

My favorite custom stories so far are An Unexpected Arrival, Abduction and Emma's Story. I like custom stories where is scary atmosphere, not like random jumpscares (for example. Flying naked guys in House of Creep custom stories) Does anyone have good recommendations? I haven't much played custom stories, yet.

In terms of creativity, Insomnia, then White Night. Much better use of resources, I'm honestly surprised its not more popular; wasn't "advertised" as well I suppose. As far as scary goes, La Caza was pretty good, One Light in the Darkness did an excellent job for high quality level design and good story, and had a really well built up atmosphere. a few others are Followed by Death, and The Machine. On my DO NOT play list, I'd have to say Baldo's Discovery, and House of Creep, Olaf's demise, this is due to the low quality level designs, lack of originality in terms of scares, poor lighting/ atmosphere, etc. For silly/fun, Dark Room still dominates all of the others.

The Servant's Diaries, Snowed In, and Harvest: Prologue are my top favorite custom stories, L'antre de la peur and The Exorcist being pretty good too.
