I cant get it to work i extracted the files to my amnesia the dark decent/redist then double click the .bat and it wont work am i doing something wrong or do i need a clean amnesia no mods on it

Maybe try to moove every files doc by doc in your Amnesia folder ( for exemple moove every files in the doc "texture" of Gary.rar in the doc "texture" of Amnesia/redist, then moove every files in the doc "maps" of Gary.rar in the doc "maps" of Amnesia/redist etc...) and then moove the .bat in Amnesia/redist.
Prehaps that will work

I have 1.2
didnt rename anything
put it in the right doc
All i have is a flashlight mod Sad
Wait do i open the gary config and sounds etc and put them in the right place or do i just put in the directory like the others and the 1.2 is the Justine expansion pack correct I cleaned out my amnesia folder so theres no mods or custom storys Sad

I Have finely Played trouth amnesia the dark decent. Very good story end very scary.

Here a tuto I do (on paint...FUCK YEAH) , not a big skill in english and in effect, but I think ( and I hope) you will understand.
If any problem said it I will try to be more understandable.

If that work now, then...enjoy this awesome mod and shit your pants !!

Edit: Read this , just in case, for the "menu/main" part, only the "gary_menu.map" go to menu/main, the GDC must be put in "menu" that's all.

I use a cracked version too dude, and I have no problem

The team who make Gary mod said it too, in the readme.txt there are an explanation for regular version and an explanation for cracked version


Edit: Can you post a screenshot of what you have ( error message or something) when you try to lunch the Gary.bat ?

Actually, if he's doing everything right then that probably is his problem. You probably just got a less fucked-up download, though I bet if you get further into modding you'll experience problems too (certain scripts not working and such) and you're not going to get too much sympathy/help from the community.
