He looks a bit like a crayon that was left out in the sun for a little too long.

I don't know is this really glitch... But you remember the generator room? There is that deep hole where you'll have to drop that box which have the reserve battery.
Well, do this: Drop the box wich have the battery, and just when it starts to fall, you jump after it. You won't die!

I tried that and I died. Maybe I didn't do it right.

In Underground Area 1, the Northern Area from the TNT barrel,

if you light the TNT and jump above it when it explodes, you'll load in the next area
; and although I died at the other end, it would be a great trick for a speed run if you didn't. I believe its possible because I've had explosives set off near me before and took no damage because of some invisible obstruction.

It was in a Speed Run and I noticed from there. I haven't tried by myself, but I saw it by my own eyes, and it works! Smile

Maybe the trick is standing on the crate.
If you manage to not fall above it, but tand on it while it falls, the game might not recognze the height and falling speed. correctly
