Custom Stories not showing up - GreenFire700 - 03-08-2012
I have put the files in the correct folder (custom_stories) but when i launch amnesia they are not in the custom story section in-game.
Also, I have the game on steam.

I've the same problem... Put the custom story's file in (/custom_sory) and ... nothing !
I'm on MAC and I've bought the game on Frictional Game Store...
If someone to help us, GreenFire and me.

If you use winrar or something to unpack the map, it sometimes creates the maps folder inside another folder. Which means that the game can't find it. Try to move the maps folder manually to the amnesia/custom_stories folder (if it asks to overwrite any files, say yes). Hope this helps!

I have figured out another cause of this problem (besides moving the wrong folder to the custom_stories folder). This happened to me when I changed the text of the 'custom_stories' folder to 'custom stories'. I guess the game doesn't read the folder correctly unless the text contains the UNDERSCORE and appears like this, custom_stories

Preferrably create your own thread for this issue. Your solution might just be that you need to create a new folder named custom_stories. I'll be locking this thread now.
