Water is essentually a force that pushes everything in a certain direction for a certain amount of force.


In order for those ice cubes to not move easily, you have to make them have alot of mass.

The problem with that is, if you want them to float, you need alot of force pushing them upwards.
Now, alot of force+little mass object = it pushes it out of the water very fast.
