I'll mention some tools I find that I think that will help you guys in your mods. I'll keep updating this frequently:

CubeMapGen - Awesome for skyboxes.(http://developer.amd.com/archive/gpu/cubemapgen/pages/default.aspx ) (Check end of link page).
CrazyBump - Will generate all the maps required(normal, specular, height...), and has a free version.(http://www.crazybump.com/ ).
xNormal - generate normal/ ambient occlusion/ displacement maps among other things; FREE for commercial or non-commercial use. ( http://xnormal.net/ ).
Make Human - Great tool for making humans( http://www.makehuman.org/ ).
xMind - Probably the best free mind mapping software out there. ( http://xmind.net/ )
Free Mind - Extraordinarily usefull mind mapping software. (http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Download ).
Labyrinth - Useful tool for creating stories ( http://www.habitualindolence.net/labyrinth/ ).
Grindstone - Nice project and time management tool (http://www.epiforge.com/Grindstone/ ).
Anvil - Great software for audio editing (http://www.anvilstudio.com/ ).
bfxr - Tool to create sound effects, the simple way. (http://www.bfxr.net/ )
Lightworks - Free award winning video editing software (for decent trailers) ( http://www.editshare.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=66&Itemid=98 )

I love all the new stuff =] Not going to download them all, but MakeHuman looks most interesting to me. Is there a way you could change the title to something different like "Creative Programs" or something like that? I feel the title is a bit misleading.
