Confusion - Ch1, 90 MB, a lot of custom files. - Theforgot3n1 - 05-17-2012

I'm currently working to complete my custom story called Confusion!

It begins at an unknown facility. Clearly you've forgotten what happened. But as you walk around, you slowly remember your surroundings. You're in fact just one out of hundreds whom have been taken away. But why?


Anything more as introduction would ruin the intentional self-exploration.
In the story I try to explain everything, including the monsters and magic-like things. It is revealed throughout the maps.

The main focus is on atmosphere and scripting. I've really work on having the puzzles be unique and not standard, like the chain of keys, or copies of Amnesia puzzles, and it has turned out successful, imo. The second big focus is on the voice work and sound engineering. Thanks to the voice actors, a microphone of my own and Audacity, flashbacks exist, and so does plenty of custom sounds.

I've made three maps so far.

I'm currently having voices from xPICKLEMONSTER, Obsidiaguy and jezdamayel; they're great. And help from SUMMER^ who's given good suggestions grammatically for notes and such. Big Grin
That's all I have to say for now.

I've finally created a few maps with what I think it has a great atmosphere. Now I just want some people to play it and give me some feedback on what is good and what is bad. I'd really appreciate this, as I don't think I could continue creating more without knowing what people think; school is creeping around the corner as well. [Image: tongue.gif]
