Please check the troubleshooting guides before posting! - Miike21276 - 05-23-2012 My name is Michael Armstrong I got all the updates for my Graphics Card I have an Intel HD Graphics card I got it all updated but the new problem is it keeps freezing at one single spot in the game. It is where he goes into a flash back and he sees a Blue Shimmering Light. The problem is the light does not show up leaving the game frozen. I use a lenovo G560 Laptop and it is windows 7 64 bit. I was wondering what I should do? RE: Please check the troubleshooting guides before posting! - jens - 05-23-2012 Temporary set the graphics settings to lowest possible then replay this section and it should work. afterwards you can set the settings back to highest. RE: Please check the troubleshooting guides before posting! - plutomaniac - 05-23-2012 Also, you could try installing the latest Intel HD driver which is 2696. Use the have disk method since you have an OEM laptop: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-9942-post-89162.html#pid89162 RE: Please check the troubleshooting guides before posting! - Miike21276 - 05-24-2012 I thank you alot for both your guys help thank you. It will still keep on saying that i dont have all the requirments for the installation and if i download the zip file then i still wont be able to use it either. it says that the driver does not support this kind of Windows that is all then it will exit. What should I do now? RE: Please check the troubleshooting guides before posting! - plutomaniac - 05-24-2012 You haven't chosen correctly your operating system or your operating system architecture (32-bit or 64-bit). You can see these by typing dxdiag at run or search at the start menu. Your drivers are capable of playing the game either way. Do what Jens said: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-15583-post-139296.html#pid139296 RE: Please check the troubleshooting guides before posting! - Miike21276 - 05-25-2012 I have tried everything you guys have said and my computer still will not run for the game. I already updated all the drivers but the blue shimmering light is still not showing up. I have no idea on what is going on with the computer but I can only get to the spot with the shimmering light but nothing comes up just pure blackness. I have tried to update it several times but my computer says that my computer does not have all the requirments for the installation. What should I do? It's always that, you miss something or you think something that you did not find is not important etc... After that, go to that game part again and right after you close the game attach me your HPL.log again. I want to see what it says. RE: Please check the troubleshooting guides before posting! - Miike21276 - 05-25-2012 ok hold on trying it now ok there it is (05-25-2012, 06:35 PM)plutomaniac Wrote: Try again the steps in the guide and use this link (this is the correct, maybe you downloaded something wrong): http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21160&ProdId=3319&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20%2864-bit%29*&DownloadType=%0ADrivers%0A |
