In short, game looks great except when I turn lights on.

Two things

1. This is a Penumbra problem, not an Amnesia problem.

2. You have Intel Integrated graphics.

'nuff said.

Well, I guess you could try updating your card drivers.

Crap, I didn't notice the forum headers... My mistake.

As for #2, I play Skyrim, Alice MR, Civ V, etc, so I don't really think its too much to expect for a 4 year old game to run without problem...

As said update the drivers and if that does not help lower the shader quality in game.

also the games that you mentioned and pretty much everyone mentions are DirectX ones and not OpenGL.
