Odd Error. Top folder in "custom_stories" does not show in game. - Statyk - 06-05-2012
So I've come across a strange error in my Amnesia... It appears (after a few minutes of bug-testing), that my Amnesia fails to load the uppermost folder in my "custom_stories" folder. Everything below that folder loads perfectly fine. So what I did to fix this was place an empty folder labelled "0" inside the custom_stories folder so it will always remain on the top and push the rest of the stories down so they may all load. For example:
In my custom_stories folder:
- "0" (the custom story that is ignored by Amnesia)
- CS 1 (loads in menu)
- CS 2 (loads in menu)
- CS 3 (loads in menu)
.
.
.
This fixes the problem for now, but could anyone tell me why this happens?

Problem with Custom Story..
Does not compute.
No idea why but my spider sense say that it may be that your amnesia is corrupt?
And I hope it's not corrupted. >> I mean, this isn't a reason to re-install, but it's still confusing.

The only issue i've had of custom stories not loading were due to either an error in the configuration or a small, random glitch when generating the custom stories list. However, this glitch can be worked around by reselecting a profile.
