Display Case set on unbreakable vanishes? - Rinacath - 06-07-2012 I have a display case set up that I want to make completely unbreakable so the player can't get at anything inside (yet). When I go and check the 'disable breakable' box in level editor, it vanishes in game whenever something hits it that would otherwise break it. Is this a glitch or is there a reason? I've tried navigating around the problem with blockboxes but the only way to actually keep anything from breaking is to make them unnaturally big, so that everything just hovers a foot or two away. Is there a way to keep the display case around without breaking or some other way to prevent it from breaking? RE: Display Case set on unbreakable vanishes? - FragdaddyXXL - 06-07-2012 Just tried that in my test level, and noticed the same thing. Perhaps someone could solve this by using the model editor? RE: Display Case set on unbreakable vanishes? - Adny - 06-07-2012 What about checking the static physics box? Didn't seem to change anything. RE: Display Case set on unbreakable vanishes? - Stepper321 - 06-07-2012 Go to technichal and put a block box around the glass, just screw around with it, it should works. (or blockbox no player) RE: Display Case set on unbreakable vanishes? - Rinacath - 06-07-2012 (06-07-2012, 02:24 PM)Stepper321 Wrote: Go to technichal and put a block box around the glass, just screw around with it, it should works. (or blockbox no player)I tried that, but a really determined player can somehow shove an object through enough to shatter the glass. The only way I found to protect the display was to make the box so big you really couldn't even go near it. After a moment or two of wild swinging whatever I was holding always managed to get through in testing.
