I have tried for ages to find out how to find my redist folder!! i bought a steam copy and i go in to the amnesia the dark decent file everything is there including custom_stories but no redist folder and i need for dark room! can anyone give me like a walkthrough of how to get dark room or help me find or get redist folder!

Steam verision does not use the redist folder. Copy the custom story folders into custom_stories and you're good to go.
