(SOLVED) Help With HPL2 Editor? - Freakybarber37 - 06-10-2012 Specs: Acer Aspire Timeline X Intel i5-2430M Core- 2.4GHz Turbo Boost up to 3.0GHz Intel® HD Graphics 3000 Windows 7 (I think that's all that's needed) Hello all fellow Amnesia map makers/players. I have recently been very interested in making a custom story. Unfortunately I cannot due to an issue with my laptop's components. (EDIT) Basically, I am wondering if it may be possible to change my video drivers. I would like them to be changed because with my current one, I am unable to use the HPL Level Editer program. Whenever I open it all it is is a black screen and I have to use task manager to use it. At the top of the window all it says is: "HPL Level Editor- Unnamed Map" I have researched the topic and all I have been able to find is that it is because of my video drives. So anyway any advince on how to change them or something similar is what I need. Any feedback I can get would be much appreciated. RE: Help With HPL2 Editor? - MaZiCUT - 06-10-2012 Please write more details, this doesen't give a great clue RE: Help With HPL2 Editor? - Freakybarber37 - 06-10-2012 Alright, sorry about that. I have edited the best I can. I put in about everything I know about the issue and what may be of use to help fixing it. Sorry if I still need more details as I am unsure what to put. RE: Help With HPL2 Editor? - Traggey - 06-10-2012 You can not ''change'' your graphics card drivers, you can update them. However if that doesn't work I'd guess your card is simply not compatible. RE: Help With HPL2 Editor? - plutomaniac - 06-10-2012 http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-9942-post-89162.html#pid89162 afterwards attach HPL.log as said in the guides RE: Help With HPL2 Editor? - Freakybarber37 - 06-11-2012 Alright, thank you very much plutomaniac! It seems to be working just fine now. Looks like I can start making my custom story. Again, thanks! |
