Is it triangulated? RE: Google Sketchup 8? - Henriksen - 06-16-2012 (06-16-2012, 05:38 PM)Rapture Wrote:No error and im not sure what "triangulated" means. RE: Google Sketchup 8? - Traggey - 06-16-2012 I would strongly advice you NOT to use google sketchup, it's a very inferior modeling program. Instead go to Autodesk.com and download a student verision of either 3D's max or Maya. RE: Google Sketchup 8? - Your Computer - 06-16-2012 What do you mean by "it didn't show up"? Was there literally no information imported, or is the mesh simply missing its textures? If the former, then use a different modeling program, like Blender or one of Autodesk's tools. So I clicked all over the screen until I pressed a box without any texture or anything. If so, you need to make a material file that references the textures, with the same name as the texture (use the material editor to do that). Here's 2 pics to better explain it(06-16-2012, 10:20 PM)teddifisk Wrote: When I imported the mesh I couldn't see anything. In my opinion, anyone that has a decent piece of work should never allow someone to make a let's play of it.
