easier way to make planes upside down? - liamthespy - 07-19-2012 I use planes for ceilings often, and ever since I started using spiral staircases it's become an incredibly laborious task to make all those planes and flip them over one by one, so I'm wondering if there is a way to create them such that they're facing down? RE: easier way to make planes upside down? - palistov - 07-19-2012 No, they start facing up by default. You could just flip one upside down, then duplicate and resize that one. Or just select them all, form a compound by pressing 'B', then flipping them all together. Remember to split them again by pressing 'B' so you can move them individually again. RE: easier way to make planes upside down? - Ongka - 07-19-2012 And don't forget to check "Align to World Coords", otherwise the ceiling pattern might not fit together. Only if it's turned exactly 180 degrees upside down. |
