Penumbra Overture: Crashes after intro? - Enzait - 07-30-2012

I have all my drivers updated, deleted Overture and reinstalled. It still does not work Angry

Any help here?

It is more than likely a driver related issue...

Please try the following...
  • Find out what GPU you have and download the latest drivers for it.
  • Update any other outdated drivers (it won't hurt :p) .
  • If it works tell us if not the tell us.

My computer is new (a month old) so it has to be updated im sure. How do i see what i must update? I have Intel Core i5-2500k if it's what you are asking about

^Well even if it is new that does not mean the drivers are up to date... to see what you need to update just go to device manager (how to do that) check the driver version. Then go to google and see if there is a newer version if there is download it.

download the latest Intel HD drivers. You have an unlocked K processor so I hope that you can do that easily.

I went on
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ and tried to install some of these but always says that my computer cant "handle" these.

no definitely not. Click start and type dxdiag. Go to display and take a picture of this page.

Downloaded and it still crashes... This time when i wanted to open the game i got error code 51, so i "Verify integrity of game cache" and then i could open the game. But it still crashes after intro.
