If you want to pay a normal price for the game donate $60, or pay $20 for the game and donate the extra $40. This is what almost all new released full games ask for(many don't deserve it however this game does especially if your new to the game).

So you're a rich guy who nevertheless pirates games just because he can and who now wants to give money to Frictional Games. And you're making a forum thread about it because.....?
If you click on "Member List" up there, right next to the search button, you'll find that Thomas from Frictional games is the first registered member. He's on the last page. So why don't you just send him a PM and ask?
Look, I don't wanna sound mean and this is probably all just some unfortunate misunderstanding, but the way it looks to me, you're doing this publicly just to brag about your money a bit and let everyone know what a swell, generous guy you are. And that's not a very nice thing to do.
Besides, 500€ aren't a "great deal of money" for a company. Just sayin'...

I think it's kinda nice that he found a game he was genuinely impressed with and wants reward the devs as he sees fit. I do agree a thread is not a good way to get this accomplished; it seems the devs rarely read some of them unless they have "[JENS PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THIS]" or have that one specific title that pertains to hardware/software title that I can't seem to remember.
