Stop being such a god damn pessimist, Jap.

Oculus Rift is complicated and it's maybe not even supported on the HPL Engine. If someone else does it, he/she will need permission from FG and TCR and he/she have to replace some things that will take months, or even years. And we don't even know if FG/TCR will even approve or not.

Yomer answered this pretty accurately.

They don't have to have it ready on release. There's such a thing as patches, you know.

Even if patches can integrate Oculus Rift, it has to be a big one.

Not really. TF2 was recently patched to support the rift from scratch, and the update was just 100MB or so, and a lot more than just the rift was included.

But it all depends on this; Does FG allows it or not.

You mean TCR need permission from FG? I don't see why they wouldn't get it. Especially if they plan to release it with a patch (albeit that's pretty unlikely).

OR, someone makes an injector and the problem is solved.

RE: Oculus Rift Support - Tiger - 04-26-2013

Jap, it seems like you don't want this to happen. Be positive, yo.

Not allowing it would be quite illogical.

RE: Oculus Rift Support - Statyk - 04-26-2013

Exactly. If there are any games out there to support the Oculus, the first two off the top of my head are Amnesia and Mirror's Edge.
