Trees - Youcef - 08-07-2012 For people who are interested in creating custom trees, here's a free and a very useful program : tree[d] which you can download here : http://www.frecle.net/index.php?show=treed.about ![]() A tutorial : RE: Trees - Adny - 08-07-2012 Damn, why can't all modeling be that easy? Also, I'm curious about how these affect game play; do they have too many polygons/surfaces/whatever to run efficiently on hpl2? I think the pine trees are somewhere around 900 polys. Could probably get away with one or two. It looks great in-game however.(08-07-2012, 02:55 AM)Omyn Wrote:5635(08-07-2012, 02:45 AM)Youcef Wrote:What's the poly count on the one you got ingame. RE: Trees - Traggey - 08-07-2012 These look alright, however what most people would want to use them for is creating giant forrests, it seems to be a theme around here. In which case they wouldn't be efficient at all, from what I can tell you're using a hell of a lot polygons to shape the leaves, I suggest you lower that ammount.
