Walls blinking - hfa2010 - 08-12-2012 I bought Amnesia some time ago but i never could play the game because of a bug, a strange bug. The wall and illumination of the game are blinking. Like the transparency of the textures(or models i dont know)are set On and Off every, let's say 0.10 seconds. It's horrible. I really want to play the game but i can't! I run on a Ubuntu 12.04 with Intel HD 3000 and with S3TC functional, so i don't think that is it. RE: Walls blinking - crawble - 12-21-2012 im having same problem, think it has something to do with not full support of open-source drivers, and being as all intel graphics are open source... I don't know what else to do now RE: Walls blinking - The chaser - 12-21-2012 I hate doing this question, but where did you get the game? RE: Walls blinking - trsrm - 12-21-2012 This is same for me! Does anyone know the solution? Quote: I hate doing this question, but where did you get the game?I play Amnesia Demo from Steam RE: Walls blinking - janjiss - 12-24-2012 Hi guys! same goes for me. Walls are blinking and for a moment are becoming invisible. If this will help, than this is my lspci for video: https://gist.github.com/4369452 RE: Walls blinking - malloc - 02-01-2013 Hello I have a acer ao756 with a SOC (system on chip) Pentium B987 + Intel HD Graphics that is based on the HD Graphics 2000 and Lubuntu 12.10. When I run Amnesia walls blink. Closing the window a strange rectangle appears in the upper left of the screen. The windows are not drawn on this rectangle and only displays the desktop. This made me think the driver error and googling a bit I found: https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa I updated the drivers to the beta version: " sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade " Reboot and the game looks perfect now. Although the mysterious rectangle still appears xD I will report on the Ubuntu forums. Thank you for this game and make it work in linux. greetings edited: link broken, new link RE: Walls blinking - juliankho25 - 03-03-2013 that didnt work for me. there still blinking transparent walls.
