Game crashes when exiting 'Outside' - walli13 - 08-20-2012
When trying to leave the outside, in BP, the game crashes and i get a:
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
The three suggestions the game gives me there don't really apply (though I suppose i could look into updating, but my computer is only a year old.)
The game ran perfectly up until there.

Have you tried re-installing the game? Or if on Steam to verify the cache integrity on the game in Steam?

The only thing I'm nervous about reinstalling it, is it erasing all the saves.
I'm not quite sure how to do the second part of that suggestion though...but I'll check.

the saves will not be deleted, you can find then at Documents

Inside "Documents" there should be a folder named "Penumbra" or something like that. That should contain all your save files.

Try posting the hpl.log that is in the Documents. Inside the Penumbra folder. It may not make sense, but it could reveal the problem.
