I was wondering if it was possible to change the jump height in the game?

yes, it's possible. but you have to do a full conversion, link above this text. should help you
just go into your amnesia-folder, and edit the cfg-files. but if you want to have it in the main game, SAVE the original data before, make a copy or something, if you want to change it back.
