Favorite Thing to Do/Wear on Halloween? - Statyk - 09-13-2012 So I've been coming up with ideas for Halloween, as it's my favorite holiday of the year (then Thanksgiving, then Christmas), and what I usually do is design my own costumes. One of my favorite hobbies since I did it once 2 years ago. I made a Pyramid Head Costume for 2010, which I've posted here before for some of you who have already seen it. I thought it was so much fun to make! So the next years, I planned out a few more. Last year, I made an Oro facemask since I was on a time limit to Halloween. I caught it late, so I had to do something fast. I remember going to school in it and freaking the shit out of students. XD I came at a corner at the end of the day and a girl came around right in front of me and screamed "OH HOLY SHIT!!". I had to take the mouthpiece off because I was laughing my ass off so hard. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money to get whiteout contacts, so it was half-complete. It was still awesome though =] 2010 Pyramid Head Costume (Silent Hill: Homecoming) Spoiler below!
2011 Oro Costume (Condemned 2: Bloodshot) Spoiler below!
This year, I am planning to make a "Stilt Monster" costume with a more original design. Based off of these guys here: So far, I have the stilts done, so now I have to work on the body. Times running short! So my question is, what do you guys and girls do on Halloween or what costumes do you wear? I like hearing ideas! So bring 'em forward! =] RE: Favorite Thing to Do/Wear on Halloween? - Zaffre - 09-13-2012 Slenderman RE: Favorite Thing to Do/Wear on Halloween? - Kreekakon - 09-13-2012 Oh man Halloween played a huge role in my childhood back when I was living in the States. Trick or treating was pure awesomeness. I remember that I had two primary costumes that I used to wear: When I was smaller I used to wear a costume of the Magna Defender from Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy. That thing was awesome ![]() After I grew out of that I wore a Ninja costume, and carried homemade weapons made mostly from cardboard. Now that I've moved back to Taiwan, I don't celebrate it anymore, but the memories were great. EDIT: Another thing I remember is that at least 30% of the other kids would wear Ghostface costumes from the movie Scream. It always freaked me out when I came across a variation that pumped red water/blood into the mask. RE: Favorite Thing to Do/Wear on Halloween? - Gaviao - 09-13-2012 i would pay 1000 dollars just to have a human sized grunt to wear =D, but in brazil... THERE'S NO HALLOWEEN =////////////////////////////////// RE: Favorite Thing to Do/Wear on Halloween? - Deep One - 09-13-2012 15 meters long Rock Worm costume RE: Favorite Thing to Do/Wear on Halloween? - Robby - 09-13-2012 Thanks to my bullying friends, I don't dare to wear a costume. The entire town goes "oh, look, it's the gayster!". So, none. RE: Favorite Thing to Do/Wear on Halloween? - Obliviator27 - 09-13-2012 This bad boy right here. I would portray as a Power Ranger in early ages, then later, I always picked ninja costumes. Then after that, I used to do the bloody mask thing (not Scream though. I hate Scream >> Not scary, more annoying imo). Those store masks always smelled like silicone shit... Ergh. I could never have someone's comment stop me from what I love to do. As for you Obliviator, that is fantastic. Why have you not told me of this before?? And Traggey, please don't do the X marks on the eyes. I hate when people do that to Deadmau5 heads >> |
