Amnesia Main Menu Issue - Edogawa4869 - 09-24-2012
I recently downloaded a Custom Story (Insomnia of the "Wake Trilogy") that ultimately opened up its own Amnesia window. Now, however, when I open up the regular game, the "Insomnia" logo now takes the place of the "Amnesia" logo on the main menu. The rest of the game appears to be fine: it's still the original game, and the rest of my custom stories all work; it's only the title card swap that has me irritated.
(Currently, I'm operating on Windows 7 on a MacBook Pro. Yes, I can't believe how much I've defiled this thing, but there you go.)

In all seriousness, you'll be stuck with that logo for the rest of your life. It's like HIV/AIDS for Amnesia. The only way to get rid of it is to do a complete re-installation. Good luck!

Insomnia is the only mod I can think of atm that does this; if you look at a lot of popular LPer's, they'll more often than not have that instead of the original logo as well.

Complete re-install isn't required. No file was overwritten from the original game. The game is simply finding that image first, since it uses the same name. Simply delete the folder lang\eng\dnh\graphics_dnh_menu\ and it should go away.
