Are you afraid of the dark? - Wooderson - 10-31-2012

Be honest, you're at home either alone or everyone is in bed. Your house is pitch black, do you turn the lights on in fear?

I know I do Tongue

In a natural emotional state, I have never felt scared in the dark. Sometimes I felt more safe and cozy, actually. It is only after playing a scary game or watching a scary movie does the darkness make me nervous. But I think that can be said with pretty much everyone. =P

I feel the same as Statyk. I admit, I do get unsettled in the darkness with no background noise, which is why I keep a fan on at late night to aid me in falling asleep. If I've seen something eerie or scary I may lock my bedroom door just to give me a sense of security.

Yes definitely agree. Would it be called sub-conscious?

One time I was in the storage, and I didn't hear the grunt. So as I was walking through the darkness, suddenly, it's face emerged only a foot from mine, and it gave chase.

I had a mini heart attack, and I am more nervous in the dark now. Can't play horror without a light anymore. ;_;

I've set a timer on my TV then goes to sleep with the volume at 1, i need that background noise to keep me from not staying awake, since i'm having some serious nightmares atm. And our cat can sometime make the most terrifying sounds while we're sleeping Confused!
