Wow, I'm really excited for this game! Rome Total War is one of my favourite games so I'll definetly get this one. I didn't like the more recent total war games though; Empires, Napoleon etc. I preffer a good old sword and bow so I'm glad they're making a new Rome TW.
I remember reading an interview with one of the developers where he told that they want to make you, the player, more connected with your troops. That they'd hold a more personal importance to you instead of just being a bunch of clones for you to sacrifice, thus making you care more for the survival of your troops. Don't know how they plan on doing that but it sounds interesting.
