Crashes as I start the snow level - reflexing - 04-04-2008
Crashes as I start the snow level after the boat level.
Vista x64/GeForce 8600 GT, latest graphics and sound drivers, latest OpenAL.
Applied patch 1.0.3.

In the log it says that no personal directory could be created.
Where did you find hpl.log?
It might be that some access settings are not set up correctly. The game should run just fine on Vista.

I found it in "c:\penumbra overture\episode 1" =)
Vista have "Users" directory instead of "Documents and Settings".

Do one of the following:
- Set access levels for Vista so the game can create folders in the game directory.
- Make sure the game can save the User directory.
Perhaps some other Vista user can help you.
