Edit: This is no longer relevant, I have got into the game and no longer a fear quitter.

If you're already fear quitting at that point, then this may not be the best game for you.

Haha at the beginning I was scared as FUCK too. I couldn't play it! Every room was the horror for me, but now I have to say I am able to play it, but I am still pretty damn scared.
That's what I love at this game!

I don't get why, but before any comments were posted I was saying to myself ' I can do this, it is only a game ' But I was also trying to immerse myself but slightly less, and I am starting to play longer and longer times.
It may be because I have been up all night, so my senses are a little on edge.
At first I thought this was gonna be no scarier then Slender or Survivers (russian version with freaky ass wolf instead of slender) But the archives has me going, I get chills whenever I go in, and it doesn't help when I am on skype and my friend keeps breathing really loudly...

Yeah man, you're not the only one
I take breaks from it as I can't play it for long periods of time. It's so easy to become immersed into the game. Suggestion: Become more familar with flappy jaw the first time you have a real encounter, get up close and personal so he's not as scary

I think I have overcome my fear of the noise and voices, but I haven't seen the flappy jaw yet, I am in the wine cellars, I can hear them but cannot see them I MUST ENTER THE DOOR WHERE THE BANGING COMMENCED !!!

you may want to turn a bit the gamma up, and even if you're too scared, turn off the sound.
after that, you'll have to do it without this trick

Thanks for all the help guys, I have the sound on and the gamma is turned up a bit, Floppy jaw just disappeared from the wine cellar, I was trying to look at him
I am no longer too afraid and I don't fear quit
I got past the puzzle... Well almost I have all the chemistry things just have to put it in the pot. Was it like this for you guys?

Just then Amnesia would be the best game for him!
The goal is to have fear. When you DON'T have fear, there's something wrong.

Wow, the Grunts or Floppy jaws aren't scary AT ALL, I walked up to one in the refinery and I literally lul'd when it looked at me xD The monsters dont creep me out (At the moment) Just the atmosphere and the story line
