I've had different tics as i grew up.
I started out with coughing without actually coughing.
I've made some high pitch noises with my throat.
I've been twisting my eyebrows.
I think it has finally disappeared... still it returns sometimes, but it has been worse than it is now.
I don't know if you can call this tourettes, but it is a thing that i have to do, like when it itches somewhere on your body. It's hard to not reach for the place where it itches.
I also have the teenage-brain right now, which is pretty annoying at some points...
That might be under mental issue..

Social retardation.
EDIT: Though I wouldn't say I have a severe case of social anxiety or anything. It's just that in many cases I cannot think of anything to say (sometimes even liquid courage cannot help me - usually does though). Unless I'm talking to someone with basically the same interests as me, I usually end up saying stupid uninteresting stuff because I am too reserved a person to take the conversation in interesting ways.
