questionable solution to getting a custom story shown on amnesia - reper1210 - 01-14-2013
My friend can't get his level to show up in the custom stories on amnesia, he assured me that everything was correct. im just thinking out loud, but is it possible to take a downloaded custom story, delete all of its content besides the maps folder and the settings.cfg, then delete all but one map, put his content on that map after erasing the other content manually in the editor, and then rename everything to his custom stories name?
sorry if that's unclear, but has anyone heard of doing that?
p.s. the custom stories were NOT downloaded using desura, if that makes a difference.

Yea, that should be possible.
It sounds like he has an error in his .cfg file

If you show us the .cfg file, I'm sure we will be able to fix the error. It's usually a really little thing, like
<main
instead of
<Main
