I accidentally replaced a map file (map04.map)
but I have it still open in the game, if I leave the game I lose it forever.
so much fail!
anyone knows how to save it?
maybe there's a temp file amnesia uses? (like map04.temp )
or a code function i can add to the map script that recreates the .map file?

What you see in the game was the actual product you made, so if you run it and then you replace that map, there's nothing to do (at last that I know). I don't know if you can open a map from a cache file, though. Try it.

Loading the file doesn't prevent changes to the file from occurring, since the game doesn't lock the file for itself. You should make a back-up of everything from now on.
