I was just wondering something silly....
Did that guy which made Philip's voice acting actually was interested to play the game?

I mean....it's not only about money..maybe he said 'wow this game looks cool maybe I'll play it' Tongue

It must be funny to play a game with your own voice in it. Kinda funny and strange experience i guess.

Who did the voice-acting? I thought it was the guys at Frictional.

Nope, all voice actors in the series are hired foreigners.
But I think Thomas had his 15 seconds of fame as the whispering voice of the "Spider hater" guy... ;-) Not sure though...

I think in overture/tech demo, the narration was one of the Devs along with other various human noises that don't require a voice actor to do (spider hater, hurt sounds, tuurngait likely)

The rest of the voices were done professionally.

Overture : Tom Jubbert, the scriptwriter of the series... ;-)
