If you do, have you moved them from another folder?
Or saved them on the desktop, and then moved them into the maps folder because you couldn't find them?

from desktop to a folder yes

RE: In active - active - FlawlessHappiness - 02-06-2013

So that is probably it.

When you save a .map file it isn't stored in your ProgramFiles map folder.
It is stored somewhere deeper, which you might want to have a shortcut to.

The path is:

C:/Users/[USERNAME]/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/ProgramFiles(x86)/Amnesia - The Dark Descent/redist/custom_stories

In there should the .cache file be hiding. You must EX-TER-MI-NATE it.

Its becuase i couldnt save it in the map so i placed it from desktop to my folder

Only when i go to users i cant find the map appdata?

RE: In active - active - FlawlessHappiness - 02-06-2013

It is windows you have right?
if you cannot find appdata, click the start button in the lower left corner, and then search %appdata%

It should take you to [USERNAME]/AppData/Roaming, which is one step too far.
Just go back to AppData and follow the path i gave you.

Have you tried re-downloading the level editor?

RE: In active - active - NaxEla - 02-07-2013

So what exactly happens? When you tick the box that says "Active", does the entity turn see-through in the level editor? Or does it stay the same?
