Not sure what to make of this error... - prator - 06-07-2008 I can get the game up and running okay. I get to the starting menu, select "New Game," watching the opening cutscene, see the loading screen... and then the game crashes. I then get an error message stating that: "Penumbra demo.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module ig4dev32.dll at 001B:048E9E8A, devProcessAttach()+89274 byte(s)" At first, I thought it was a graphics card error, but this is the computer I'm using. It's only a few days old, and I'm reasonably sure that the "X3100" media accelerator thingy is one of the cards that this game supports... 'Lil help here, please? RE: Not sure what to make of this error... - Thomas - 06-07-2008 I think u simply need to update the drivers for your graphics card.
