Good stuff, read it.

too long didn't read.

Agreed, anyone who doesn't know this stuff shouldn't be a dev.

Although I slightly disagree with one point, some parts of game development are dull to people of different disciplines. I think coding is a drag, for example.

EDIT: Heehee, thought I was posting somewhere else for a second until Bridge pointed it out.

Lots of fair points, but also a lot of dumb stuff that is highly situational. Still a good read, thanks. Smile

That was a fairly good read Smile

I have to admit though that one of my biggest shames/regrets of my university life is that I haven't been able to spend enough time learning more skills in game developing like I want to. Most of the time is consumed mainly by my responsibilities as one of the main leading staff in my club, and department's student council respectively. Not saying it's not time well spent just because it's not on learning game making. Those things are definitely a huge important part of my life I'm glad to have. It's just a shame that they take up so much time.

Oh well, university's not over yet! Big Grin

I honestly can't tell if this is sarcasm, or not. Really I can't...

"If your game idea starts with a story it's not a game idea"

What

On-Topic: still learning here.

Off-Topic: Oh so you're a college student? well that explains most of your posts...
