I guess Frictional's line of thinking is that they announced the release as "late Summer" so as far as they are concerned nothing more needs to be said.

Unfortunately they didn't specify exactly what they meant by late Summer, and in which part of the world this applied ....... perhaps they meant late summer in Australia? In which case expect it in a few months ........ Wink

I think it would be wise to just be grateful you're getting anything at all.

Who says we're not/you wouldn't be grateful? Being grateful has nothing to do with it, and anyone would be truly grateful. That doesn't take away from the fact that they would be extremely eager Tongue

RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 2 - Googolplex - 08-06-2013

Penumbra had much more to explore than Amnesia. That's why I enjoyed Penumbra a bit more. Hope AAMFP will have more exploration than the original game. I like it to build my own way out, examine areas to find things that could help me repair a machine generator or sth. Penumbra was more complex, Amnesia too linear.

Hope they will put more exploration stuff into AAMFP, not only walking through the levels while solving a hand full of simple "insertion" puzzles.

And I hope they will make the game scarier and more frightening than the Silent Hill series. AAMFP will have completely different horror setting, but it would be nice to try to make the scariest thing ever on our planet.
