There was a hidden smoke gif hidden in the top banner image. Clicking it brought you to a new image of a house. If you left clicked below the house and dragged your mouse from side to side it would slowly reveal hidden words, like a scratch ticket kind of. New words only got revealed every so often and people were beginning to think this could lead to them showing the release date.
Word by word it was revealed and people tried to figure it out, when it was finally all revealed, you could enter your email and would win a free copy of the game when it comes out, but it ended at that poem. The poem however was only up for like 2-3 days and taken down, so naturally again people began to believe something new was going on.
We've been checking site every so often, and looked like some changes here and there until our suspicions were confirmed as being wrong. In the site's coding they basically told us to stop constantly looking for things that aren't there because there isn't anything new happening atm, and just be patient as they are trying their best.

Don't worry, those managing the special site stuff. Our disappointment stems from our impatience - something which can not be solved when you are attempting to slowly weave a beautiful tale without spoiling for the reward at the end.
Point being, don't mind our whining.
