What kind of info do you want exactly? There's nothing more to know until the game is released.

What do you guys think, what will the monster look like?

There is a lot of fan-art about the pig monster, but i bet the real thing won't look like any of them.

They can tell us
1. What they are doing right now
2. If everything is going fine
3. If there is something else to do then what they are doing now

They just need to give us some news i cant believe that its so hard to just write those 3 things Undecided

I feel like i should have stated my original guess of release (i.e. some time in September or October 2013) instead of August 8. Either way, it was (is) obvious to me that Q2 2013 was unrealistic, and i had a feeling Q3 2013 would also be unrealistic, although i have no real connection with FG whatsoever. Yet, i also have doubts on Q4 2013.

I see. Whilst your at it, why not ask them what brand of hardware they are using, how many hours a day they spend working on it and how many sugars they take in their coffee...

There is no need to keep breathing down their necks. If there was anything we needed to know then they would tell us. Just because they are an indie developer, it doesn't mean they are somehow obliged to involve us in the development process to such an intimate extent. Knowing such things still isn't going to make the game come any quicker anyway.

1. They're bug fixing, optimising, polishing, tweaking, arranging distribution, etc. They told us they were doing this and that it would take until the end of the summer to complete. The end of the summer is about a month away at least. They're doing what they said they'd be doing for this long, there's nothing else for them to tell us in that regard. Between February and May we heard nothing, and many of us were itching for some info, which we got. Then we got a little more in June from both Dan Pinchbeck [read the update] and Frictional Games which affirmed the previous statement that things won't wrap up until after the end of the summer. There's no reason to think this has changed.

Questions 2 & 3 are more or less covered by the answer to question 1 Wink

Me as well actually after I'm done playing through Amnesia: The Dark Descent again. Bought the Penumbra collection bundle a few days ago and own all 3 now, really looking forward to playing them. Hopefully it keeps me tided over. Although waiting will still be hard and my mind will start getting negative again thinking we won't see AAMFP until 2014 Sad
