The fact that people don't consider "first world problems" to be problems. Do you want me to worry about how I'm going to get home without being mugged or killed or how the dictatorship I live under gives me no rights? I agree that certain things are too trivial to even be considered problems, but in the first world there is by definition no such thing as a non-first world problem. If it's enough to cause someone distress, it's a problem - no matter how bad somebody else has it.
