One time my mom got me a black Iphone when I clearly asked for a white one. I can't recall anything more traumatic than that--it was pretty life changing.

Another painful experience is when you find one of your pets dead.
My little lovebird died this morning...
I've lost many small pets before: various kinds of birds, a hamster, a guinea pig. And I always cry.
So I can't even imagine how's it going to be when my cats die.
