Hello. I have a problem with amnesia the dark descent on steam. One time I accidentally uninstalled it on steam so I reinstalled amnesia. Now whenever I try and launch it, my steam profile says I am Playing amnesia but nothing pops up. Not even the installer/launcher. I have windows 7 64 bit home premium. And I know that's its not my pc because I did run it before I accidentally uninstalled the game and it worked flawlessly. Also I contacted steam but they said to check frictional games. I use a geforce gtx 650 as my gpu and a AMD FX 4100 clocked at 3.6 GHz. If anybody can help that would be splendid.

Have you verified the integrity of the game cache? (Game properties)

Do the above and if that does not help try deleting the Amnesia folder in My Documents/ (this will delete the saved games as well). If that does not help then possibly some Steam troubleshooting is needed, such as deleting the blob file etc as they usually recommend when games have trouble launching.
You can also post the hpl.log file, instructions are in the troubleshooting guides here in the tech support.
