That model? In just one month?
Are you so fucking serious?

I learned Blender in like 4 or 3 and didn't get close to that.

RE: Need help on Autodesk Maya - OriginalUsername - 08-09-2013

I'd start with some simple models, like a chair, table or stuff like that. You can learn how to sculpt after that

RE: Need help on Autodesk Maya - The chaser - 08-09-2013

If I was you, I'd let characters for the very last. First, I would get used to the techniques that the program offers, I'd watch a few tutorials (well, many) and, when you had a good basis of knowledge, you could start doing something harder (but, dude, that thing is probabily one of the hardest to do).

Yeah, never going to happen.

Don't say that. In my inside, many months ago, when I only knew how to open Blender, I thought that. But, by my surprise, a month and a half later I knew how to do a spider (Not the coolest or best spider, but a good start):

I don't think you will make it without any knowledge in maya in a month.
