Trouble with Amnesia: The Dark Descent. - arcadiae - 08-09-2013

I know it says to check the troubleshooting guides first, but I did and did what they told me to do in turn, but it gets me nowhere.

My operating system: Windows 7, 36 bit.
Graphics card: Intel HD Graphics, I have no other specifics than that. I know Intel is a bad card to run with this game, but I read that there are exceptions, particularly HD cards. If I could figure out if this card was good for it or not, I wouldn't be posting here, honestly.
I tried updating said card via the troubleshooting for that, but that also got me nowhere.
But everything tells me my card is up-to-date.

My problem: Amnesia crashes the moment I click to launch the game.

My error messages are as follows: Amnesia.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module ig4icd32.dll at 0023:0A8F3DC2

Stack Trace:
0023:0A8F3DC2 ig4icd32.dll

First of all, you must be the first to actually read the guide and provide all the required information as requested at Problem X. For that I thank you. Now, you need to update your Intel HD drivers using the have disk method as mentioned here: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-9942-post-89162.html#pid89162

I'll be honest, I didn't.
I'm just aware, unlike some people, that you can't help me unless you have all of the required information from the get-go.

Thank you, I'll try it!
