Man.. this whole PewDiePie getting a privilege to play AAMFP first thing has really upset a lot of people and the forums look like a mess now. I don't personally have anything against PewDie, and I do see the great opportunity from a marketing perspective, but damn..

If they send us all a copy ( Which wont happen), i will SO play it. Even if its just a little copy and so on... And the chase music can be heard in the video.. But i only hear silently drums... And PewDiePie's voice is so irritating.

1337 painting spoilerz.

Leda and the Swan already discussed before. Strong bestiality theme going on there.

The first shown painting in the vid is a girl with a dog. The painter is Charles Burton Barber. "Charles Burton Barber (1845 – 1894), was an English painter who attained great success with his paintings of children and their pets." Innocent enough but strong human vs animal theme here.

Then there is the main hall where there are a lot of paintings.

The first one (that PDP looked for a while) is Casual Ward by Luke Fildes. Fildes shared his grandmother's concern for the poor and in 1869 joined the staff of The Graphic newspaper, an illustrated weekly edited by the social reformer, William Luson Thomas. Fildes shared Thomas' belief in the power of visual images to change public opinion on subjects such as poverty and injustice. So rich vs poor and capitalist vs worker theme here.

The second on the wall is The Bean Feast by Jan Steen. He was a Dutch genre painter of the 17th century. The Bean Feast has kind of a double meaning. The term originally denoted an annual dinner given to employees by their employers, where beans and bacon were regarded as an indispensable dish. So worker vs capitalist here again. And in other meaning it generally just refers to a party with plentiful food and drink. So maybe gluttony and greed here too.

Really late to this but I like Markiplier! I found him about 2 weeks ago and thought he was really great. Clever and witty, made me have some laughs. His experience through first Amnesia from what I watched looked really cool as well. If anyone deserved to play through the game early I would say him. Even then I still don't think anyone should have been able to.

Also late but what the heck I need to get this of my chest.
Markiplier made me respect let's players again. Like Magnum said: Clever and witty, I always enjoy his videos. What I also find good about him, is that he always gives feedback after he played an indie game. He explains what's good and what needs to be improved of the game which is something everyone should do actually. Also, his personal messages to the subscribers is something I always enjoy. And I totally agree with you, Magnum. I prefer Mark playing Amnesia then PDP.
*His voice is also sexy*

Regarding the thoughts of some people who think that the monster is kind of underwhelming in the footage: What if they send PDP a different version of the game? Maybe some kind of a promote-version? A version with a "less scarier" monster just to create expectations that FG can smash upon the release date? Wink

Those were "review copies", so it's highly doubtful they'd send altered copies to people who are to judge its content.

Very unlikely. Remember, it's a review copy, so I doubt they'd sent a less scary version of the game to the people who will be putting up the first reviews and thoughts, and give the public a scarier version.
