I'd also give points to Day9 too. He's not a LPer per se, but you can tell on his days off playing other games than SC2 that he genuinely cares about the games he plays.
His Amnesia playthrough is also some of the funniest shizz I've ever watched.

It's a style of lamp. My mom had three or four when I was a kid. I forget what they're called.

As for let's plays I'd choose Markiplier. many here probably dislike him either because the fact him being silly too sometimes, pewdiepie does too but he does it almost always.
Mark though always talks about how the game is and talks about what he is doing, what a let's player is supposed to do. only a few jokes sometimes but then back to seriousness.
he has 700 000 subscribers and every month 100 000 more, in november he should have 1000 000 so as of known people. he is one of them.

It's a kerosene lantern, also called a hurricane glass lamp.
