Well it is the first hour in the game and there is a high chance it is. it doesn't seem so dangerous and It is the same monster when he saw the people in the cage

and since there was no sound when he encountered it (terror meter and music) I assume it's less dangerous

About the lantern... What are these odd noises it makes when activated? It sounds like someone is scratching some metal against some wood pretty quick. Or that must be me hearing something very wrong. Does it even need to be recharged? If not. Screw the electricity bill.

You should know by now that Amnesia series storylines are not as they seems first. I was simply suggesting that he got selective amnesia and top of that Schizophrenia.

Of course I don't know sure until I get the game. Smile

Also forgot to ask.

Is it possible to make an exact replica of it?

I am a collector and would much appreciate to have that kind of lantern.

That would be cool as hell. And a 1:1 costume of the monster that we will see soon. Oink oink!

This video shows a little bit more than the others (last 2minutes):

Regarding the machine (it may really spoil your experience).

Spoiler below!
First of all, let's take a look who did the voiceover for it. It was Mark Roper, whose profile may be checked out here: http://www.noelgay.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=71:mark-roper

The part of his portfolio that picked my interest: "He can be heard on the terrifying trailer here: http://www.aamfp.com/". So, after checking out his voice sample, it can be safely assumed this is the Professor.... but also the Machine.

read nothing into it, it was budgetary reasons that he was used for two roles
